Now that 2024 is done...
this is what happened in January.
I started off the month shooting with one of my favorite people: Kora. We both wanted to create something different that we had in the past. This time, something a bit darker, and visually striking. We ended up shooting 2 sets, each with their own distinct vibe. The first one: Succubus. The second, a bit of visual play.
Next up, a Viking.
I've been chatting with Hannah on IG for a while now. She is by far one of the coolest people I have met here in Asheville. Philosophy is her jam, but modeling is way up there on her list of talents. We thought we'd have some fun creating a couple frames as if I were to travel back in time to create a portrait of a viking, and conversely, they would travel forward in time to have their portrait taken. I know it seems odd, but I think the images below might help everyone grasp the concept.
Cool thing to note: the weapons in these images were actually given to her by her grandparents.
King of the photo session...
I had met Kalab several times in the few months preceding their photo session. This session was simply to create some images for them to use as promotional materials for their shows here in Asheville, and the surrounding WNC area. I think we got some pretty great shots during this session, and I look forward to creating more with Kalab in the future!
