February...
in a word: awesome. We kicked off the month with a photo session with Annie. I had always wanted to give light painting a try, and she was totally up for it—and goodness did she ever rock it. One of my favorite things about this whole photography thing is the experimentation, and the willingness of most of the people that sit for me to just 'play around' with light. I knew we could create some really cool images together, but we'd save the 'safe shots' for later in the day. From unrealistic images to catalog to dark and somewhat mysterious, Annie was amazing to work with!
Emily the Viking...
Emily and I met through a local facebook group: Creative Content Days. I mentioned in the group that I was looking to create a viking series that began in January, and she wanted in. We scheduled her session for February, and had an absolutely great time working together creating some powerful images, all in the name of fun.
Ashevillish.
I don't often work with clothing brands, as it rarely aligns with the kind of images I create, but when I met Ryan, and felt his passion for the local Asheville community, and his vision to bring awareness to local small businesses after the Helene, I had to be involved. We were able to round out the month of February by creating some colorful and fun images for the Ashevillish brand all while having the best time together in the studio.
